Ecco il nuovo e nono atto della discografia dei Graveworm, intitolato “Ascending Hate”. A tre anni di distanza dal precedente “Fragments of Death”, la band ritorna con un album agguerrito, con un sound potente ed atmosfere cupe ma attraenti. Il risultato è ancora una volta un disco estremo ma anche stilisticamente più vario, dove il Black Metal con elementi sinfonici ed arrangiamenti Gothic Metal dalle atmosfere notturne e malinconiche, in stile Cradle Of Filth, Dimmu Borgir e Moonspell, ma con voce growling, vari cambi di tempo e le melodie classiche in stile Melodic Death Metal.
